Dear Partners & Community Leaders,
As we reflect on this past quarter, we’re filled with gratitude for your continued partnership! The Empowerment Center’s programs are bridging the gap between wellness and wellbeing—and this season has been a powerful example of that work in action.
We were proud to celebrate the graduation of our CHW Academy Spring Cohort on April 11th, honoring a group of dedicated individuals who showed unwavering resilience throughout their 12-week training. These graduates are now stepping into vital roles across healthcare, education, housing, and social services—bringing trauma-informed care to the communities that need it most.
This quarter also included powerful moments of collaboration and advocacy, including a site visit from Jobs for the Future as part of their Inland Empire Listening Tour, and our participation in City of Murrieta Councilmember Lori Stone’s “A Day in Her Shoes” event, in honor of International Women’s Day. We’re also excited to spotlight one of our CHW alumni for lifting her voice in the region!
Through every story, every step, and #ThePowerofTogether, we remain committed to building a resilient workforce. Thank you for being part of this journey!
With appreciation,
Tiffany & Teresse
Here are some highlights from our
CHW Academy Graduation Ceremony…

Thank you to our community partners and Multi-Sector Roundtable partners who have been a bridge for our CHW Academy students throughout their 12-week training journey!

This quarter, we were honored to welcome Jobs for the Future (JFF) to The Empowerment Center as part of their Inland Empire Listening Tour.
In their own words, we had the opportunity to showcase our work in action—
“…piloting a workforce housing model as well as offering mental health and wraparound supports as part of a Community Health Worker program…”
We’re deeply grateful to the JFF team for not only funding this vital work of providing workforce housing, but for taking the time to truly listen—amplifying the voices of the youth we serve across California.
Thank you, JFF, for your investment in a better future for our youth!

This quarter, The Empowerment Center proudly joined City of Murrieta Councilmember Lori Stone’s “A Day in Her Shoes” event! This year amplified the issue of human trafficking, here in our region.
We salute Councilmember Stone for lifting up her voice in this critical area. We’re excited to announce TEC as the charity of choice for this event next year, where we will be focusing on behavioral and mental health needs across the region.
